ATDI is a global leader in radio network planning and spectrum management solutions. We are currently looking for RF & Business Development Engineer for our Sydney office. This candidate will be responsible for providing all levels of sales and account management, including pre-sales consulting, new business opportunities/lead development, responding/preparing for tender/sales proposals, providing product demonstrations/presentations and attending global marketing/sales campaigns to the clients of the company in the areas of radio network planning, spectrum management, electronic warfare and cartographic data management.
His/Her responsibilities will include:
- Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential in designated regions;
- Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
- Persuading clients that a product or service better satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
- Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
- Supporting/leading marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
- Helping in the design of custom-made products;
- Analysis of the technical requirements in pre-sales process (technical response to RFQ/RFP/Tenders, technical pre-sales negotiation;
- Software validation and testing: collaboration with the software developers of the company, highlight modifications and enhancements of the company software requested by the customers;
- Validating the functions implemented before releasing to the customers in liaison with the sales team of the company;
- Cartographic data conversion and preparation for customers;
- Researching and reporting in emerging 技术;
- Attend any domestic and international travels as required by the company.
The successful applicant must have:
- Relevant education in related discipline
- 3-5 years skills and experience in related industry
- Proven track record of successful sales in the same/similar projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- No restrictions/issues with frequent travelling overseas
Applicants with the following qualifications will have an advantage:
- Skills and experience in utilisation and practice of ATDI tools and/or other RF software
- Experience in Civil or Military Spectrum Engineering and Resource Management
- Experience in Electronic Warfare industries
- 2nd language other than English
